Leicester Scalp Clinic now provides Semi-permanent eyebrows, including Microblading, Powder brows, Ombre brows and Natural hair stroke.
Treatment takes around 2 hours and a top up is required between 4 and 12 weeks after the initial treatment, this ensures results will last up to a year.
Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made up of several tiny needles is used to add pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hair stroke is created by hand producing a thin, natural looking line that blends in with existing eyebrow hair, whereas, with eyebrow tattoos they are done with a machine and needle. Microblading is used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape the appearance of the eyebrows.
The initial appointment includes consultation and initial application. The second appointment a minimum of 4 weeks later is to refine the strokes and fine-tune colour. The 2nd application ensures that the micro-pigments are healing properly and responding well.

DIGITAL HAIR STROKES: Creating hair strokes with a digital or “machine”. Often using different needles as our paint brushes we can create hair strokes and this is often the choice for skin that cannot tolerate the micro blade. This creates a more diffuse hair stroke.
POWDER/OMBRE/SOLID: Powder brows are meant to create a powder look much like topical powder make up. They are not for creating hair strokes at all and are best for clients that want a more solid looking brow or have brows but want a base colour. Solid brows are similar but usually have more density to create that “pin up” look or “vintage” look.
COMBO: Often we use combo techniques to combine powder with micro blade or hair strokes. Combo are good choices for clients that have little to no hair at all and may not be able to handle only microblading. It also helps to create more natural shading and dimensions.
We also offer lash lift and tint (LVL), this gives definition and volume to lashed making them look thicker and longer.
Please note that a patch test is required at least 24 hours before treatments.
